Acura at Daytona
- Acura seeks a return to victory lane at the Rolex 24 at Daytona following back-to-back-to-back wins in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
- For the 2026 season, Acura has again partnered with Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian, the team with which Acura scored the 2022 and 2023 Rolex wins—and finished second last year.
- Acura and MSR combined to finish second in the Manufacturers' title race in both the full-season championship and the Michelin Endurance Cup.
- Acura MSR will field two electrified Acura ARX-06 GTP class prototypes, the #60 and #93 machines—which have undergone updates in the offseason to the rear and front aero, as well as side pod and engine cover changes to accommodate new exhaust rules for the 2026 IMSA season.
- The #93 GTP represents a continued presence from Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US) within the organization as the HRC US team will again strategize and engineer the racecar as it did in 2025 IMSA WeatherTech competition.
- The #60 Acura ARX-06 will be piloted by Colin Braun, Tom Blomqvist, Scott Dixon and AJ Allmendinger. The four drivers share ten Rolex wins between them (Braun 3, Blomqvist 2, Dixon 4, Allmendinger 1), with Blomqvist being part of Acura MSR's 2022 and 2023 victories and Braun joining the effort for the 2023 win.
- Braun, Blomqvist, Dixon and Felix Rosenqvist drove to a second-place finish in last year's Rolex 24 at Daytona—en route to a third-place finish in the Michelin Endurance Cup for the entry.
- The #60 team also drove to victory lane in 2025, with Braun and Blomqvist taking the win at the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen in June.
- The #93 Acura ARX-06 boasts two-time Rolex 24 winner Renger van der Zande, while the rest of the lineup are still seeking their first victory in the twice-round-the-clock classic.
- van der Zande will be joined by fellow GTP ace Nick Yelloly, reigning and four-time Honda-powered IndyCar champion Alex Palou and Japanese rising star Kakunoshin Ohta.
- The #93 lineup combined to score three pole positions in 2024 and van der Zande and Yelloly drove to victory in the Detroit Grand Prix last June.
- Ohta, a Honda Formula Dream Project graduate, made his IMSA debut in last year's Rolex 24 as part of a five-race program between Acura MSR and Era Motorsport's LMP2 program alongside his Super Formula duties.
- In Super Formula competition, Ohta finished third in the 2025 championship in his docomo Team Dandelion Racing Honda.
- This will be Acura's 12th Rolex 24 as a prototype manufacturer (1991-93, 2018-25). In addition to the overall wins from 2021-23, and in 2016 under the HPD/Honda banner, Acura won the Camel Lights class at Daytona in 1991 and again in ‘92.
