Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US), the North American racing arm for both Honda and Acura, will showcase new prototypes from its forthcoming line of performance and capability enhancing parts for on-road and off-road applications at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas November 4-7. HRC will display eight vehicles at the SEMA automotive trade show, including the new Honda Civic Type R Rally XP. The display also features several special project vehicles equipped with prototype parts, such as lightweight forged wheels, upgraded suspension components, and aerodynamic enhancements, developed by HRC’s championship-winning engineers.

At the SEMA show in 2024, HRC announced it will move forward with a new business of developing authentic performance parts for retail Honda and Acura consumers in North America. These new parts will leverage the wealth of technical knowledge and expertise of championship-winning HRC race engineers. As a hugely successful racing organization for years, HRC US is uniquely positioned to offer parts for customers to enhance the performance and capability of their own Honda and Acura vehicles.

NEW: Civic Type R HRC Rally XP – Making its global debut, the Civic Type R HRC Rally XP is fresh from off-road testing to confirm the durability and capability of the car with F1 driver Liam Lawson in Texas. This demonstration build took learnings from the HART Acura Integra rally car, HRC’s touring car experience and partnered with Rally Ready to push it even further. This street legal vehicle is built to compete in American Rally Association (ARA) 2WD class to help bridge Honda’s touring car legacy with rugged performance innovation.

Starting from a stock Civic Type R and adding racing safety components, the Civic Type R HRC Rally XP will inspire HRC fans as it pulls from HRC’s racing catalog to utilize existing camber/caster plates, oil cooler kit, intercooler, radiator with reverse cooling flow hoses, clutch plate differential, suspension components, and TCR hood vents. It also showcases numerous prototype parts including brakes sized for rally wheels, shifter, carbon fiber hydraulic handbrake and a custom exhaust. It is rally course ready with a tubular subframe supported aluminum skid plate and additional underbody protection and rally-specific dampers. This rally-spec Civic Type R is being evaluated by HRC for future commercial racing programs and is rally competition ready.

- NEW: Passport TrailSport HRC Concept – This bold take on the all-new 2026 Honda Passport, already the most capable off-road Honda to date, features innovative HRC performance and capability parts, functional accessories, and unique styling to elevate it to new levels of performance. Engineered for off-road terrain and overlanding exploration, this concept vehicle features a comprehensive suite of enhancements across performance, protection, lighting and utility.

Trail-ready performance and protection modifications include: redesigned lower front and rear bumpers to improve approach and departure angles, extended aluminum skid plates and additional underbody protection to safeguard critical components, including the center bearing, prop shaft and rear drive unit. It also features new front and rear dampers, a one-off exhaust system and a 60mm suspension lift combined with a one-inch increase in tire diameter for improved ground clearance. There are also wider rock sliders that can act as side steps and a swing-out full-size spare tire carrier, among many other changes.
Additional utility features are extensive, with lighting being a key focus of the concept. It features upgraded fog lights, side camp lights, rooftop light bar, ditch lights and rear chase lights, all run by a custom multi-zone lighting control system. HRC developed a low-profile roof rack equipped with a side canopy to highlight the vehicle’s overlanding capabilities. The concept includes an 8,000lb winch and integrated rear air compressor.
The thoroughly upgraded interior is highlighted by exclusive HRC blue Alcantara inserts and branding, along with multiple new HRC accessory mounting panels throughout the vehicle.
The Passport rolls on prototype wheels and is finished in a matte Thermal Orange with a blackout roof. This purpose-built off-road machine is designed to elevate the Passport’s adventurous abilities and show a potential direction for an HRC Passport.
- Updated: Integra Type S HRC Prototype – Featuring newly developed HRC prototype performance parts for street and track, including new forged wheels derived directly from the Acura ARX-06 race wheels, this updated build continues to evolve with feedback from HRC engineers and enthusiasts alike. Showcasing advanced aerodynamics, weight reduction and uprated suspension components, the HRC Prototype shows how future HRC parts could greatly improve performance.
- Honda Baja Passport Race Truck – Powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 engine produced by HRC, the Honda Baja Passport Race Truck features a new body with inspiration taken from the all-new 2026 Honda Passport. Coming off a 2nd place finish at the Baja 500 it will be competing at the Baja 1000 in November to demonstrate HRC’s off-road capabilities and endurance engineering.

- Honda Civic Type R Super GT Racecar – Being shown for the first time in the United States, this race machine competes in Japan’s 2025 Autobacs Super GT Series where it has earned multiple pole positions and podium finishes this season.
- Alex Palou’s Indy 500-Winning Honda Powered Hybrid IndyCar – Powered by the 2.2-liter Honda Indy twin-turbo V6 hybrid power unit, Honda dominated the 2025 IndyCar season winning the Driver’s Championship, Manufacturer’s Championship, Rookie of the Year and the Indy 500.
- Honda Civic Type R TCR Racecar – Driven by Karl Wittmer and LP Montour with Dai Yoshihara to multiple victories in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, this proven touring car is based on the turbocharged Honda Civic Type R production model.
- Acura ARX-06 IMSA GTP Prototype & Phillips 66 Lubricants Showcase – The electrified Acura ARX-06 is the latest in a successful line of endurance prototypes fielded by the brand since 1991. Acura has won three IMSA Prototype championships and three Rolex 24 at Daytona endurance races. The ARX-06 competed in the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar GTP Championship hybrid-powered category where Acura finished second in the manufacturer standings and recently claimed victory at the Detroit Grand Prix and iconic Six Hours of Watkins Glen. Alongside the ARX-06 is a new oil display with partner Phillips 66 Lubricants.

HRC Merchandise & Memorabilia
Fans can explore a curated collection of new HRC Originals, the official apparel and merchandise from HRC. Also included on display will be the 1/8 scale model of the RA272, the car that earned Honda’s first F1 victory in 1965.

HRC Prototype Performance Parts Display
In addition to the vehicles, HRC will have a display wall of prototype performance parts being worked on, including lightweight forged wheels, upgraded suspension components, and overlanding enhancements. These parts are being tested for future availability and reflect HRC’s mission to deliver race-inspired performance to everyday enthusiasts.
